La regina delle schede video: Matrox Pharelia --> benchat

Non potete immaginare la felicita quando tra le mani ho avuto questo gioiello! Una scheda che fino ad ora avevo solo potuto sognare! Una scheda che vorrei tanto avere nel mio pc, ma che aimè non posso permettermi!

Cmq ho fatto dei test di sfuggita, ne faro di piu approfonditi in seguito!

I soliti test, 3dmark 2001, 2003 e aquamark! La scheda non eccelle in prestazioni pure ma...

Punteggio che si allinea a quello di una 9100, o 9600 normale (che sta sui 9000! Non male, considerando che non ha pretese velocistiche! Mi aspettavo un po di piu, ma ho visto che sul sito della mad onion la matrox pharelia che corre di piu fa 10.000 punti!



3d mark 2003

Qui sono dolori, non cammina se non nel primo test, viene miseramente surclassata da una 9600 liscia, che sui 1700 ci arriva, qui ci fermiamo prima di mille!



Aquamark

Nel test aquamark la pharelia soffre, come la 9600, ed infatti ottiene un punteggio che è la meta circa della 9800 pro!




Considerazioni personali

La Matrox non mi ha stupito. La conosco da troppo e so che ogni volta che si ha a che fare con lei è un centro perfetto! La scheda è prestante il necessario per far girare i nostri giochini preferiti ( d'altro canto la mia 9100 fa il suo sporco lavoro sempre senza fare una piega!). E' poco al di sotto di una 9600!

Cosa ha di cosi bello la matrox dunque? Bè lo sappiamo tutti, la qualità!
Io vi giuro che non ho mai visto, e dico MAI visto, girare 3dmark 2001 in quel modo! Non ho mai visto quei colori, nemmeno sulla 9800pro! Non c'è proprio paragone! Vedere il test nature è stato uno spettacolo, la 9800pro è dietro anni luce rispetto a questo gioiellino! Io nesono rimasto veramente colpito! Molti dicono che la differenza non si nota! Si nota, eccome se si nota. I colori sono piu accesi, vivi, limpidi! I riflessi rasentano il fotorealismo! Veramente qualcosa di eccezionale! Potente!

Per chi come me non è interessato ai soli fps è il top che ci sta sulla piazza! peccato il costo! Avessi tra le mani una 9800pro chiederei subito a qualcuno lo scambio con una pharelia, scambio alla pari! Giuro, chi mi conosce da un po sa che lo farei! Ci ho anche provato tempo fa!

Mah non so, come ti ho già detto al telefono, è una scheda estremamente lenta nelle applicazioni 3d, difatti con ampie risoluzione fa fatica e con l'avvento dei nuovi giochi, la situazione non può che peggiorare.
Il problema è appunto la qualità, matrox s'è sempre basata sulla qualità dei loro prodotti, qualità espressa in video, la velocità è un optional. basti pensare come una g450 da 32mbddr sia riuscita a sopravvivere fino ad oggi!

Resta cmq un'ottima scheda 2D per uso professionale, per il 3d invece, ahime non si può che definirla un entry level.

come qualita video sulla PADELLA (cosi la kiamo) c'e solo da inginokkiarsi ma sulle prestazioni che sfruttanlo l'accelerazione 3d puo solo essere usata x far girare mario bros.....

MATROX NON E' PENSATA PER IL GAMERS,anche se tutti con una matrox si possono fare la partitina a halo per esempio....


le ati per esempio sono pensate per i gamers e quindi con i bench vanno che è una meraviglia...

cmq anche io sono un possessore della PARHELIA ( o padella )...ho la versioen agp da 256 mega...

è una favola di colori e qualità.....mi faccio anche la mia partitina ad hallo con il surround game della matrox alla ris: 1280*1024.......a 32 bit di colore.....


nessuno scatto......


quindi è inutile che dite che la matrox fa schifo per i giochi...

LA MATROX NON E' PENSATA PER I GIOCHI.....

ovviamente matrox dà una possibilità a giocare con la parhelia in maniera decente,però per il videogiocatore che vuole il massimo di punti coi bench può andargli stretta.....


ripeto cmq che una scheda non si giudica da quanti punti fa,ma dalla visualizzazione che ha!


io preferisco meglio una risoluzione di 1280*1024 con tutti gli effetti speciali su un 19 pollici....piuttosto che una ris. di 3000*2000 e senza effetti...
